change color of 240sx on photoshop please?

would someone be so kind to change the color of this 240sx body to a silver color which is like my car...here is a picture of my car for a color reference(2nd photo)
I want this car to be changed to the color of the second 240sx(mine) and get rid of the vinyls if possible...i would do this myself but dont have photoshop...pretty expensive and saving up for AutoCAD...thanks

It doesn't look as good as my other work because I was on the Photoshop CS3 Beta

how did you do it? - at first I did the masking and overlays but then I tried to get as close as possible in variations

I'm not sure what your asking.

For the vinyals I just put other parts of the car with matching color on top.

For the paint I made a duplicate layer of the background and did ctrl+shift+u to desturate it then went to vartions and made it lighter with a bit of cyan. Then I just went to the duplicate layer on top and cut out the pieces of the car I wanted to change colors with the lasso tool.

It's not bad but you took out the emblem and stuff too though. Also it looks like your tried to draw in the line for the door.

Yours isn't much worse. For the other guy if you can get me a real picture of your car from the side I can add the rims and such. I took off some of the details on the back of the car.
