Thats hard, I hear they are very light and if she's twin turbo you might have to swallow any shit you might have given him.

you are WAY better off with a 300ZX, IMO.

3000Gteas weigh 2 tons, are slow as fuck, especially N/As....
should I go on ?

not saying the 300ZX is inferior but it is better, and so is the Supra

dude, I don't know what the fuck was wrong with me when I posted that. I misread your post and thought you were thinking to get (buy) a 3kgt :o

if it's non-turbo/vr-4 you'll win if your car is running like it's supposed to, all you have to do is smash the "go" pedal

No, they're not really slow, but like Max said, they weigh a lot. An SL has about 220 HP and will get to 60 in 8.5 seconds. Your MAxima should do it a full second quicker. NOw if he has a base, you will destroy him, those have like 160 HP, although the base might not have come out til a year or two later. But yeah, as long as it's not a VR-4, you WILL win.

It depends if he is a standard 3000gt or a SL 3000 gt. If he is standard he will be eating your shit. He only has about 160 hp and he cant do shit to the maxi. But if he is a SL 3000 gt it might be a little more tricky. You will blow his ass of the line but he will get back on you in seconds. The SL 0-60 is about 8.5 seconds and the max 6.6, but dont let the numbers fool you he is running about 220 hp. If he is a SL your best bet not to reace him off the line. Down shift really low then pass him then when he get on you slow down and be like I don't want a ticket. It sounds cheap, but he will think twice about the maxi.
