motor swap question

I have a 1997 sl1 with a sohc, I just aquired a dohc from a 1993, my question is, besides the egr adapteer, is ther anything special I need to do, to put the head from the 1993 onto my 1997 block, computer maybe, I know the fuel system is different, but how different.

you are better off swapping the entire engine then just the head. and you will need a fuel pump for the dohc

Yep, swap the whole engine.

the crank is shot on the 93 block, if I remember correctly they should have the same crank, right. what about the computer, will the one I have work with the dohc engine, i've heard the 97 harness has the same connecters, but I would like some more input from the members if possible, my email is [email protected], if you prefer, thank you.
