RC211V '06 PE parts question- Which one?

Hi all,

Just have a quick question regarding RC211V PE parts. I've just received in the mail the '06 Konica Minolta Honda. Anyway, I've seen a fair few different detail up sets by different companies. A lot of them even stipulate 02/03 or just nothing at all.

First question is, are the previous model year bikes PE sets good on the MY06 bike?

and most importantly, which PE set is the most detailed (and preferably) best fitting?

Cheers

No takers? I know quite a few of you have built RC211V's. Any help would be appreciated on helping me pick a PE parts kit.

Re: RC211V '06 PE parts question- Which one?

seeing how all of Tamyia's RCV's no matter what year are basically the same kit mostly cowling is just the difference
any PE set would do for the 06 .
Std27's set is quite good even though I hate pe sets (nothing ever seems to go right for me with them . Then what do I go and do is get the Top studio 05 M1 set I'll never learn).
Haven't used a pe set from crazy modeler so can't say anything about them

I thought the kits might be the same but wasn't sure.

I was tossing up between the Studio 27 & the scale motorsport kits.

Thanks for the feedback.

Well when you got the money and the time to wait for it, topstudio(http://www.topstudiohobby.com/) will be releasing a super detail set for it.

Yeah, I'v seen that a few months ago. As I've got to RC211V's on the cook, I'll probably try the Studio 27 one for the first one and by the time the LCR gets relaesed hopefully the top studion kit will be out as well and I'll pick that up.

Thanks for the info.

Crazy Modeler will have a pe set for the '06 RC211V and should be ready to ship next week.

The Top Studio set is a little further out, probably a month or two.
