93 Marquis Headlight Flickers off and on

So I'm Driving down the road the headlights turn off for a second or two then turn back on and keep doing it over and over so I pull over to see what was going on I sat there and watched the lights turn off and on while in park but the tail lights stayed on Sometimes when the lights turn off and on sounds like a clicking noise under the dash can anybody heelllpp please this problem needs to be fixed ASAP

Sounds like a defective Headlight Switch. If you are able to replace it the part is available at http://www.rockauto.com They have pretty good prices (No, I do NOT work for or with them - it is just where I find most of my Ford parts!). I would also check for wiring shorts. Intermittent shorts can be difficult to repair. MB
