This gripe is got me stupped.
The Idle Speed Control (ISC) drives the idle to 1200 rpm's (E030 code). Replaced the ISC because the Switch was bad. All the inputs called out by the manual are present. Checked the vacuum lines, all check good. Swapped out the PCM (called out in the manual) no joy. The PCM will not drive the ISC in override mode, even though the ISC adjusts when a load is put on the engine (i.e. A/C). I disconnected the ISC and drove the motor to the stowed possition. The engine is idling on the mechanical stop (550 rpm). When the engine reaches operating temp I loose cylinder 8, and the car runs rough. Replaced the Distibuter cap & rotor and all the spark plugs, no joy. There seems to be a senser that is falling off line at temp but the computer is not calling out anything.
I need a clue or direction to go in next. Has anyone seen this before?
