I have a 93 continental that has a radar detector looking thing between the back of the mirror and the windshield...the mirror does not have one of those small windows so it doesnt darken......i'd post a pic but im not allowed...any ideas ?

That's the Compass module. Use Imageshack or photobucket to host your pictures, then link those here
