Question 95 CIRRUS NEED some help

Bought the car used, and did have a starting problem when cold. It would start then die in few minutes. Then it would start and run great.
The problem increased to dying when stopping. I then decided to get a scan run on it. They replaced timing belt cause miles---+115k and said scan OK.
I took car from shop drove about 1/2 mile parked at a shopping mall---Christmas time, I returned unlocked door and alarm goes off, can't shut off.
This car not supposed to have an alarm.Towed car to Chrysler cntr. where they said either PCM and/or BCM. They disconnected power door locks to enable me to drive it,but was told alarm could rearm if disconnect battery or if it goes dead. I couldn't prove the repair shop had anything to do with the alarm but sure was odd, since never had alarm problem B-4. Anyhow the car seemed to run fine until engine light started coming on again and dying when cold start and stopping. And then wife was driving it and died and would not start again. After it sitting for couple days it started but would die about 2-3 minutes, was able to start it a couple more times like that after sitting. Now it won't start at all. I pulled out plugs ----no spark but gets fuel.
The MIL-Lamp (key-on-off-0n-off) test says codes 12-Battery, 33- AC stuff and 71--5 volts low speed cntl. power circuit.
I think problem is PCM or camshaft sensor/dist. coil or crankshaft sensor or combination of the three. Can the PCM be tested?
this is a 1995 2.5L cirrus--- I got a scanner to use but it wont LINK with computer says LINK-ERROR. I dont want to start replacing expensive parts and waist time. I am hoping with experience out there on this forum, I can be pointed in the right direction.
Sorry for the long story, thought it may help diagnose problem. If need more info please let me know.
THANK YOU

Re: 95 CIRRUS NEED some help

You need the older code reader that is why you get the error for 1996 and up not 1995...GLTY

Re: 95 CIRRUS NEED some help

I had the exact same problem when I first started driving.

I had a mechanic replace the computer in the car. The whole thing. And now it doesn't do it anymore.

The check engine light no longer comes on, and it no longer stalls or turns off.
