Reading the faq; it says intakes dont do much for subies especially if they are not turbo. It also says if you get it with an exhaust atleast you need to tune it to get anything noticeable from it.

What about an under pulley? Is it hard to install and will it void warranty or harm the harmonics of the engine?

P.S What about a short ram and tuning the chip so it wont get dangerously lean as it stated there?

You need to understand intakes more to understand why an intake alone isn't recommended as a 'power mod'.

Intakes increase the amount of air and engine can 'take in' but if you still have the stock exhaust on the car, you gain no benefit. Before addressing how the engine breathes in, you should address how well it exhales, a larger diameter exhaust with less impedance to air flow will give greater gain.

As to remapping with a new exhaust, it's not entirely necessary. I haven't remapped and I have a Genome setup on my car, I just don't get the same power gain as if I did remap. Nice thing is, at any point, I can switch back to the stock exhaust and get through any state's emissions
