Heater Controls

I have a 1997 Suburban. I think I have a bad front fan control in the dash. I have no power on the orange wire going to the heater relay. When I jump 12V to the orange wire the fan will come on.
How do I get the heater controls out of the dash. To check and replace them. I can get the plastic dress trim off. I can see the heater control block with the fan, distrabution and temp switches in it. I can not figure out how to get it out to check it or replace it
Help!!

Re: Heater Controls

You should see two slots. One to each side of the controls. If you stick a plain screw driver in those it will unclip the controls so you can replace them.
The new ones should clip right in.
