97 blowing PARK LPS fuse
My 97 Sierra 1500 had started blowing the tail light fuse. It is a 20 amp fuse marked PARK LPS. Sometimes it blows right away, other times it might be 30 minutes. Any ideas amyone?
Thanks, Seth |

Re: 97 blowing PARK LPS fuse
There are wires shorting together somewhere in the line from the actual lights to the fuse box. Start with the easiest, which is the wiring behind each lamp then move on to the wiring that isnt easy to get to.

Re: 97 blowing PARK LPS fuse
Something else to look for.....I was hooking up my cigarette lighter (it hasnt been connected in a long time) and it shorted out. Well, when it shorts, it blows the 20 amp PRK LMP fuse. I was able to fix mine by just moving the plug around......just something else to check out on your end.
