My mother in-laws 97 lesabre keeps dying on her while she is driving and then it wont start back up, ten mins later it fires right up and drives like a champ, the problem is intermittent, somtimes its fine sometimes it dies. She says it will lose power driving down to road and then come back to life and keep driving, I cant get it to act up when i drive it, i scanned it , 2 codes, one for multiple cylinder misfires, and mixture too lean, plugs, wires, batt, intake man., all new, i think it is the coil but im not sure, PLEASE HELP!

Re: 97 lesabre dies while driving
There's actually quite a few things that can cause this.
Crank sensor ICM Fuel pump Corroded ground bus poor battery connections I'd start with the free things & check the battery connections & driver's side ground bus for corrosion. |

![]() Pressing the Schrader valve on a hot engine proves nothing and I recommend not doing it. Good way to start an engine fire or get fuel in your eyes if not performed properly.
