fuel leak

My dad (actually it's my mom's) car is a '97 Concorde with the 3.5L engine (~160,000 miles) and I have a question about a leak of fuel that is occuring. After running for a little while at idle you can smell fuel in the engine and can visually see some on the engine block closest to the most rearward cylinder on the drivers side.

Does anyone have/experienced this issue? Anyone know what could be causing this. I remember I was over his house and helped him change the inner tie rod elastomer which had to have him disconnector the fuel line to get the change done, however, that doesn't appear to be where that is.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Re: fuel leak

Just as an update my dad actually took the car into the dealership and they are repairing it free of charge because of the fuel rail issue.
