2006 Sebring Touring sedan

Looking at purchasing a 2006 Sebring Touring sedan with the 2.7 V6, never owned a Chrysler before and was wondering if there is any major problems associated with these cars and at what mileage approximately.
If you could share your likes and dislikes it would be extremely helpful.

Thanks
dd

Re: 2006 Sebring Touring sedan

I have a 2005 4 door Signature Model with the 2.7. Shortly after I took delivery, the themostat housing started leaking coolant, and, had to be replaced under warranty. At 32K miles, the front pump failed in the tranny, and, it had to be rebuilt. After the rebuild, the tranny is "whinny" at low speeds, but, Chrysler insists this is normal. The car gets great fuel economy, but, the 2.7 is not particularly powerful. Its an OK car, but, I'm not buying another one.

Thanks for the reply. Most everyone that I've talked to that has the car says they are ok but probably wont get another. I've always been a GM fan so will probably look that direction.
