Turn off security light

What color wire under the IPC do i cut to turn off the security light on my 1993 Lesabre?

When starting a new thread, always be sure to post year of vehicle. IIRC from previous post, you have a 93. If so, you should have a Dark Green wire coming from the PASS Key decoder module going to the IP security indicator lamp. If you have the TDS (Theft Deterrent System) RPO code UA6, you also have a Dark Green wire from the TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). If you have the TDS option, the module is located under the driver side dash up and above the E-brake mechanism. The PASS Key module, is on the passenger side under dash and behind the glove box. This is the one you want to access for your particular light problem. Find the Dark Green wire coming from this module, and cut it about 3-4 inches outside of the module, in case you ever need to reconnect the system. This should disable the “Security” light!
