I would start with some basic bolt on shiaat like intake, header, exhaust.

Also what trim level is your car? DX, LX, EX? Cause if its an LX or DX, a lot of people will tell you to get MPFI which is a worthwhile upgrade, I am personally just too lazy to do it.

Good to see another 4dr joining the ranks.

What would MPFI cost?
How much additional HP and Torque?

Intake, doesent really matter what brand, just make sure you got a good filter. Some say Cold Air provides the most HP gain, personally I went Short Ram because I didnt want to drive through a puddle one day and get water into the engine

Headers: DC sports is always respectable, although if you check ebay for 88-91 civic you will probably find some good tenzo or obx branded stuff which is also pretty good. Personally I am running a stock header

Exhaust: Lots of contriversy on this issue, the one most 4dr people reccomend is Thermal R+D. My setup on exhaust was I got a performance muffler first because the stock one fell off, and then I later had to get a hi flow cat because the stock one clogged, so my exhaust is pretty much stock piping other than that.

As far as MPFI goes, people have said that you can get about 20 hp out of it, although I dont quite believe that, you would have to wait for someone who has actually done the swap to say something about it. Cost of MPFI varies, I am sure there are a couple of people on this board who are looking to sell their MPFI shit, if not go hit up a junkyard, I will get you a list of all the required parts to do it as soon as I can find one.

Damn, an Automatic, i had a Auto DX hatch, and lemie tell you, neutral dropping is fun!!!! especially i could hold a burn out longer than i can with my SI, but thats cause those tires were bald and i have new treads on the SI..... But anyways, good luck on your car, and yea, dont do any mods untill you get MPFI orelse it will be useless..... Melt should look into this...... cause he can get some serious power out of that ZC..... but its melt...... my OG brotha!
