2004 Malibu cd changer won't work
Tonight I get into my car to go home, and my cd player was quiet, so I tried skipping songs, turning up the volume; I even tried to eject my cd. All it keeps saying is "Changing to CD5" or "Check CD5." I don't hear any noise, but the little picture of the cds on the display shows the cd still spinning. It won't let me eject any of my cds; they're stuck in there. The radio still works fine. Does this mean my cd changer is dead? I've only had this car for a month, and I'm poor, so I'm pretty upset. Please help!

Re: 2004 Malibu cd changer won't work
My 2004 (Epsilon) radio died last month. Just another glitch with this car. Try to get warranty coverage, failing that, id reccomend ivesting in a good aftermarket deck, and a Schoche (sp?) mounting kit that will let you retain all those nice things like the trip computer. The stock deck is junk, and overpriced.
You could try to reset the radio, by disconnecting the positive terminal of your battery for about 10 minutes. This might work. Im leaning towards the side that it wont, seeing as how ive gone through 2 of these decks allready. (Mine is just a single CD tho) Maybe im just jaded. Good luck.
