clicking noise while driving
So it finally warmed up and i rolled my windows down. As i was driving in 2HI, I started to hear a faint clicking noise. I stuck my head out the window and it sounds like it is coming from the front end. It does not happen when the JEEP is in park and i rev the engine. I assume that it is in the suspension. I think i have a drivers side front U-joint going bad as i hear a much louder clicking noise when i am in 4WD and turning. could this clicking noise be from the U-joint even though i am in 2HI or do you guys think it is something else. I can really only hear the noise when i am slowing down or speeding up at low speeds.
Thanks!

Re: clicking noise while driving
sounds like you nailed it.... You can look under the front end and if you can manage to see the u joint you will see like a reddish dust all over the joint...if its bad...
