Scrape fairing from cornering?!
I was taking a right hand corner a little faster than before, just getting a feel of when pegs or hard parts would start to scrape. As I leaned into the turn, I heard a scraping sound. It didn't feel as though the peg was scraping, but it was a soft rubbing sound. Here's what I found out. ![]() I don't understand why the fairing would scrape prior to the foot pegs scraping. I thought the first things to scrap would be either, footpegs, exhaust, or center stand before the fairing would. What do you think?

Re: Scrape fairing from cornering?!
If it was a corner with a real nice correctly cambered surface, and you took it fast enough the G's were compressing the suspension pretty good, I could see it...or if you have the spring preload set too soft for your weight...
