VW Karmann-Ghia

Hello guys. That`s my current project. It is Tamiya VW Karmann-Ghia from Historic car series. I`ve painted it TS-20 Metallic Green.
I`ve recently understood that I am classic cars fan and decidedto build all Historic Cars.
Hope you like it

What do you think?

Re: VW Karmann-Ghia

i like the color, a polished clear coat would really make it shine. i'm thinking white walls, what are you thinking?

Re: VW Karmann-Ghia

I am not really sure about white walls. Wheels (and every thing) would be stock I think.

Re: VW Karmann-Ghia

I'd say, with that colour, you can go nuts! I'm guessing it's not a stock colour... I built this kit a few years ago in black and it's a nice kit. The engine is ripe for some extra detailing, though. Keep us posted.

Re: VW Karmann-Ghia

Good job so far

I also think that with this paint you need custom rims, why not old Porsche rims, like 356?
It's exactly the same colour I painted my convertible bug.

Re: VW Karmann-Ghia

Looks good so far. It'd still be the hood to me, since the engine is underneath. and the front would be the trunk, since that's where the storage is.

Re: VW Karmann-Ghia

I`ve found that 356 rims looks like stock, they are just wider.
