audi 1.8t? you must be racing against people who have no idea how to drive.

Take it to the track and get some times...sounds like your car might be one of those that are exceptionally strong..hehe

kaytec4door is my friend nick. I can vouch for the races that he says that he has won (sans the most recent 1.8t..cuz im in college right now). He has taken it to the track...the best time that he has a timeslip for was a 17.4. He also removed the power steering pump..and has no ac...so there's just one belt...alternator....well besides the timing belt..but we dont count that I do believe that his car is at about a 17...or a 16.9. i think that a DX automatic should be slower than nick's car...it's weird...

I beat the 1.8ts werent even racing just driving normally....... My dads modded 1.8t passat wagon smokes bmws (328i, 540i along with other brands of sports cars). Even stock his car hauled ass so you might want to reconsider what you call racing. A 1.8t GTI with under 2.5k invested in mods ran a 11.87... I will post the web site here for proof if you want. However in a real race your car would get smoked by any car with the 1.8t. The cars with 1.8ts run anywhere from mid 14s to high 15s completly stock. Anyways I have much love for honda and volkswagon but the simple truth is that there is no way you beat a 1.8t in a real race.

i know of a guy in a 92 sedan EX. it pulls a consistant 16.6-ish at the track.

i simply added my $0.02 for comaprision of track times. i'm not going to sit here and debate if you car pull harder or not. i'm just reporting what i have seen an EX sedan (give or take 0.01) on avg.

well quik silver if u call the kid telling me lets get this light and then we pull up side by side and when the light turns green not racing than i dont know what is. like fish cat said i ran a 17.4 at the track with my rims and a bunch of other things but i have done even more mods now than before so i know im faster. i will try to race him again soon if i see him around so i will be able to tell u guys i raced and won again to a audi a4. fishcat can suppport me on almost all of my races so i dont lie about that stuff its not cool to lie.
