Re: My new car

My 51 deluxe was primered grey. It looked pretty good. The headlights were frenched, the trim was shaved and some polished aluminum wheels were on it.

I bought mine from an old man who looked to be on his death bed. I payed 500 for it and after i got it the man i bought it from died. I gave the car back to his family after talking with them about the car trying to learn a little of its history. He had it so long it was like a part of the family to them so i felt sort of bad. Now i wish i would have kept it.

Have fun with it.

Nope and nope

Just some blocks in the rear, and a coil trim up front

Re: My new car

Where a 51 needs work is in the brake department if its stock.

KustmAce:

How much trim is with it? Whats the exact model on it?

Check out the 51 deluxe on this page!

Man that car is SWEEEEET! They did it right, no doubt about it.

So is this one. They are nice with or without all the trim but nearly all i have seen have the chrome that goes in front of the back tire.

Its full model name is the Styline Deluxe 2 door sedan. The trim is complete, I am in the process of remounting it. I need to get the clips for most of it.

The first link you posted doesnt work, but the prostreet 51 is mean.

Been getting a lot of work done on it over the last couple days. got the passenger door working properly, and tweaked the carb a little bit. We still need to adjust the float a little more. Also got the miss out of cylinders too. Got the rear seat recovered and remounted, and the steering wheel straightened out. Mounted some old fog lamps, and the visor, as well as the lids over the headlights. Heres a pic from tonight:

Heres a little sound clip of the dual exhaust:
