rod knock....

I got a 1994 Chrysler Concorde with the 3.3 engine last week for $100. I planned on racing it at the Seekonk Speedway and then most likely demo derby it. My only question is how long would you expect it to last because the engine knock is so bad? It sounds like im hitting a hammer agaisnt metal when its running. I just want to get through a set of enduro drags and do demo. You guys think its worth keeping or just part it out?? TIA

This car is fast I kinda tested it on the drive home.

Re: rod knock....

try throwing some high octane gas in like 91 or 93, that shouls get you through the race at least, and how can you pass the chance to derby a car, id be all for that.
