Re: hifonics

Hifonics amps seem to be overrated for there power ratings according to alot of people. I just picked up an Autotek amp which is made by maxxsonics, the same people who make hifonics. Some of there amps are a little higher in price but i have heard that they are actually rated to true RMS. We might only be talking a couple hundred watts on a larger amp but thats power that could be used.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

Re: hifonics

Theres a shop down here that praises hifonics, they used to be an audiobomb shop so its a good step up. But ive talked to a few people who went to another shop cause they didnt like the hifonics subs, while others loved them (mainly the audiobomb morons). I think theres much better out there for the money.

Re: hifonics

stick with maxxsonics, but not hifonics, there amps are great like pimprolla said but the subs are just flashy, that may be why the audiobomb people like them.
get you some 12 inch crunch ground pounders and you will be happy, those subs hold a record in bass race with just 2 of them and 1000 watts 139.9 all day.
