and i wanted to know if any of you guys could tell me how to get a little more performance out of my 95 jimmy. It has 185000 on the odometer and I am getting ready to have the engine rebuilt. I was wondering if any of you have ever had a cam, intake,(if one is available)heads, boar, etc. I figured while i am having it rebuilt i will at least try to squeeze as much hp out of this thing. The other thing is that i want to keep the fuel injection, I hate carbs. I am not trying to make a dragster out of it (i have a 95 formula for that) I just would not mind having 250 to 300 hp if possible.

Re: first post

Start with the search feature then move on to a V8 since you're rebuilding.

Re: first post

i guess what muzzy is trying to say is that seeing that your v6 needs to be rebuilt and your into performance, you would probably get more bang for your buck with a v8 transplant. if you want to mod the v6, 250-300hp is a realistic goal that could probably be accomplished with some bolt-ons and maybe a cam. the stock crank is only rated for about 300hp though.
