free d16z6

well maybe, maybe not

k well i went home this weekend to find a 95 civic sitting in my driveway. turns out my dad was helping a friend work on his car cause it had trouble starting, but i saw my dad putting oil in it and he told me it was bone dry. no oil on dipstick at all. so this morning i was helping my dad with the starting problem when i said ok let me play around with the car alittle, so i start the car and rev it up to rev limiter, and i notice blue smoke coming out the back so i told my dad. and i told him to tell the guy he should replace the motor cause either the rings or valves are shot, he said hell ask the guy about that. just so happen i know a guy selling a sohc vtec for $700. so if we swap the motor i get to keep the sohc vtec (the bad one) or the guy can pay me for swapping his motor, either way i get something. the bad engine only has 80k on it

what you guys think about that ? how much do you think it will cost to fix it. i am assuming i gotta replace the rings, hone the block, new valve stems and valves.
