fiesta timing problem

when i was changing the water pump i removed the timing belt tensioner thinking it would be ok without using the blanking pins. how do i reset the timiming i need to do it myself as i cant afford to take it to the gararge.

If you didn't take the belt off, that is,if the belt is in the same position regarding the "cogs",you should be able to reinstall tensioner and be OK.

tryied it wont start coughs splutters how can iset the timing i have took the timimng belt off and i am getting the3 blank pins next week how do i go about re setting the timing thanks 4 ur help
