the above system is playing up.is it possiable to remove the system from my 89 e32.........

If you could describe what is happening, there might be a fix for it.
It might be possible to remove it, but that means you'll probably lose all your central locking features, which is an important part of the system, unless you want to make sure all for doors and truck are locked every time you get out of your car. Is it the IR system acting up or the DWA system?
