SPEC clutch help

Hey guys, I am having my mechanic install my Spec stage 2+ kit for me, and he just called me and told me that after he puts the unit togeather, there will be NO WAY to remove it as it stands with the tools he has. He says that because of the reverse throw out bearing, and the lack of clearance for him to get to the center of the pressure plate, he cant get a tool in there to release the clutch disk from the pressure plate. Just curious if any of you have ever heard of this, and if you know of any specialty tool to remove the clutch disk after its installed. Any info or feedback would be much appriciated because my mechanic is waiting for me to get back to him because he doesnt want to do anything with it until he knows how to get it back off if he needs to. Has he pulled the tranny off already, i put in a spec stage 2 and fly wheel on my 01 spyder gt, cause i know i had a bit of a problem getting the throw out bearing to disengage the pressure plate, but all i needed once i figured it out was a long flat headed screwdriver, or is he talking bout the new set up, that once it goes in it wont come out, cause that doesnt make any since everything is disigned to be replaceable even after market stuff

The new setup...the stock one is out (he has trouble with the stock TOB and had to cut it all out with a torch), but he said the new one he cant even get a flathead to the TOB to release it. He said the only way he might be able to get it is to cut it off of the tranny through the oil pan and destroy the flywheel (not easy either). He just couldnt believe that no one else has had this problem.

that is really weird, cause there should be an access hole in the bottom of the clutch houseing covered by a rubber plug, to get a screw driver in there and i m sure i ll be able to pull it off the next time i do the clutch, that all sounds a little weird to me, haveing to use a torch and all, i know mitshubishi cars are a pain in the ass but, not that much, i got mine all done in one weekend and not once did i use a torch, the only thing i can say is call spec and talk to someone, cause if it is goin to be that much of a pain in the butt, then its faulty design on their part and they should pay for all repairs, i would do some callin and do some research before it really screws ya up

i stick with ACT, nothing against spec, it's just the only one that seems to have their stuff together.

Alright, it's finally done. It's in, and man is it good. My old clutch was worn to shit, and everything about it just sucked balls. It grabs nice and quick, but not real harsh so drivability is not lost. I need to break it in for about 600 miles or so, so after that I will let you guys know how she works on the track.
