Re: specs

.......................................0-60: 1/4 mile:
1999 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT 5.4 13.9
2001 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT 4.8 13.5
2003 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT 4.5 12.9
2004 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT 4.5 12.9

the 03/04 models are blown so they're faster stock and have a lot more mod potential. if she's going for performance then get an 03/04. if she's going for looks she might as well get a 99 v6, they look very similar.

haha well,,, a stock 03/04 cobra is capable of high 12's, but with a woman driver i think that adds .5 or so, so she's probly lookin at mid 13's

Well, not in mass production anyway...

No, they average around high 12's. They're "capable" of a 12.4-12.5 with a John Force type of run. As for the spec they're underrated at 390 hp but dyno around 370rwhp stock, they have 3.55's with a shitty IRS's that wheel hops like a bitch in stock form, they have a roots blower(Eaton M112) with an 8 PSI pulley stock, and thats pretty much all I can think of without going into a lot of details.

well that can be debated.... I personally think the 500-600 bucks it takes to do low-mid 12's should be considered part of the pricetag

They don't need any money to run mid 12's. Just a good driver, track, weather, ect.

The 03-04 Cobras are just pure evil. I wouldn't mind owning a KB Corba. They are sic and deadly fast.

wrong, they made 300 of of them and they were all exported to austraila

usually they are high 12s because they have an IRS which is tricky to hook up, a SAS will help alot, pully, exhaust, DRs and other bolt ons will help get low 12s

lol yeah alot of my friends run mid-high 11's with the stock eaton and the pulley swap trick... I was grasping at what your normal driver could do... the IRS in those things make the car either a mid 12's car or a mid 13's car.... depends on your launch and how much awesome wheelhop you create lol
