'90 olds 88 missing terribly
I have a 90 olds 88 with a 3.8 that is missing terribly, seems to do it worse when it is warm. Have tried new spark plugs, wires, and coil pack. If I put it in gear hold the brake and give it gas, I can hear a ticking sound from the egr valve. is it possible this could be it. the svc engine light is not on. any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to AF.Try pinpointing a cylinder with a spark tester, possible one on the coils is bad. This requires on site diagnosis to find the problem.
