Post Speaker Install

Now that I got the new head unit in I need new speakers. Just got a few questions:
1) What should be done w/ the stock amps? (they are still connected)
2)How do u get to the rear speakers? Do the grates pop off or do u need to take the entire piece off?
3) Is there any problem getting the front speakers out?

If anyone who has changed speakers in a P10 and run into any problems, please post those as well. Thanks guys. U've been a great help.

After a headunit and speakers, is there anything else needed? (not amps, or subs)

I'd lose the amps.... Your head unit has it's own power so I'd use it. Also while your in there you may want to run new speaker wire so that in the event that you ever want to amplify your speakers, you can easily.......
As for the install, never done a P10, sorry.... Someone else should be able to help with the removal questions...

For the rear speakers see this post http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t6883.html
For the front speakers you have to remove the interior door panel.
The front grates are integral with the front door panel. The rear grates can come off the parcel shelf but you have to remove the shelf anyway since they are screwed on from the underside of it. Didn't encounter any traps doing this last night as long as you know how the front door panel comes out.
