Hey guys! Which shift kit would you recommend to put into a stock, fresh 700-R4? I want a firmer shift, and I want 4th gear to engage at WOT. I already know that B&M is kinda generic. Any thoughs? Thanks in advance!!!

Re: Which Shift Kit?
In my experience, the B&M shift kit softens up the 2-3 in a way that's kind of weird. It actually starts to shift crisply, then flares. About 10,000 miles into the current trans in my car, there seems to be no harm, no foul so far.
The WOT OD is a spring behind a spool valve. This doesn't come with the B&M kit. The TransGo kit is more expensive, but much better, so get it.

Re: Which Shift Kit?
With the TransGo kit would I be able to make the OD gear act as a fourth gear so that it'd shift into fourth at WOT? Also, out of curiosity, does it allow you to change the shift firmness through different springs and what not, or is there a just a set default that they give you as with the B & M?
