Honda CRX Ballade Sports

Hi,

this little bugger was finished in 2004.

Mostly OOB, I just lowered it a bit and put some custom rims on.
The rear windows are tinted black, to give it some 80s feeling.

Enjoy the pics:

Yes....it has a rollbar ;-)

Thanks for watching. Feel free to comment.

Cheers from Germany
Sebastian

Re: Honda CRX Ballade Sports

I like the color and the interior looks cool. Are those rims from a late 70s Camaro?

Definetely not my favorite body style CRX (patial to te 88-91s) but man you did an EXCELLENT job on this one! great paint & attention to detail, the background really brought this one together as well. it looks very realistic, you really brought it to life man, two BIG thumbs up!!

Re: Honda CRX Ballade Sports

Very clean example of this car. The offset on the wheels is wacky for a Civic but otherwise it's perfect.

Re: Honda CRX Ballade Sports

I'm surprised how good this CRX looks; especially with late '70's Camaro wheels (Revell/Monogram)

Talk about a clash of cultures

Nice model

Hey guys...you are close but you still missed it.

The rims are from a late 80's Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS
I didn't have any other wheels sized to fit the CRX when I built it

Forgot about that kit! But the design is essentially the same; those Camaro wheels looked pretty good on the Monte Carlos of the era. And CRX's. Who would have ever known?

Re: Honda CRX Ballade Sports

That is really cool. I remember long ago I wanted one those because they had just come out with the CRX. I was 16 years old. This brings back memories, but then we didn't know anything about racing them .....yet. Looks real.. I really like what you did with the wheels. Nice addition.

I don't know how, but I just think those wheels WORK. Great piece.

Re: Honda CRX Ballade Sports

Sorry, Sebastian but i think those wheels look terrible on a CRX.
Except for that it is as nice and clean as usual. I like it!
