71' Buick 455 in 79' trans am?
Anyone ever put a Buick 455 in a trans am? Don't know if the shaker hood will close of if the shaker will fit on the carb. Just bought a '79 TA and the 455 is mounted without the manifold or carb. Want to know if I rebuild the 455, will the hood close over the shaker for a perfect fit just like the Pontiac 455.

Ive got a 79 trans am with a 455 in it, although I dont know if it was buick or olds or what... Everything fits well, although the bottom rim of the shaker had to be adjusted a little to fit the intake
