Dual Vs. Mono Exhaust

I have a single exahasut with a flowmaster muffler and resonater delete on my 2000 GP. I want to install a dual catback exhaust an I was wondering if the exhaust note would be quieter with two flowmasters vs. one? Im not sure becaue there it seems like there would be less flow through each one.

Re: Dual Vs. Mono Exhaust

With dual exhausts you should hear a mellower tone due to the fact that the sound will be better controlled since it is being channeled through two mufflers rather than just one. You should also get a little better performance especially if you increase the diameter of the piping from the cat back to the mufflers.
