Question How can i get a smoother ride out of my 99 GP GT

I believe these our the original struts that came with the car.You feel every bump in the road. Can some one recommend something else that I can get a nice ride but still keep the handling? Thanks for the help. Mike

Replace the struts(including the top mounts)
Then Replace the swar bar bushings and links(front and rear)
And u could get better swaybars but that only improves handleing ud still feel the bumps

Monroe sensatrac struts are a good ride and still handle very well.

KYBs are the best choice and offer the best compromise between ride and handling to include cost. The Monroes are too soft and the handling is less than desirable. Next choice would be the GM OEM struts.

My monroe's feel great with my eibach drop springs. Maybe my springs stiffen them a bit?

Possibly. The Eibach springs most likely changes the dimensions of everything. It may not be a bad combination in that respect because for example with KYBs you may get the pogo stick effect with lowered springs.

On generic "W" body struts I prefer the Gabriel Ultra which I use in my wife's Regal. The Monroes and most aftermarket struts including Gabriel for the Grand Prix are the same for Regal, Century, Intrigue, etc.

I have KYB GR-2's in mine on all 4. The car doesnt bounce like it used too, but I still feel the bumps.
