Hi to all,
I have the possibilty to buy one of these turbos: VF 30/34/35 With my mods i have, if i change only the turbo and the header and go with 18 psi boost, can happen something to my engine?or something else? I ask this because tuners here told me that there is no problems. And that the engine of Subaru WRX can support til 330-340PS. I use always Schell V-Power 98 oct in Switzerland and 95 when i'm in italy. Thanks to all for help. ciao mods. With the WRX, since the car is factory equipped to deal with the general life shorteners of turbo, you should be fine running at 18.
I believe the stock turbo runs at less than 15 but the fuel system can probably take a little bit of heat, just be careful. Get a boost monitor/controller for sure, and you might wanna think about upgrading your fuel system pretty soon...I would hate to see a nice car like that blow up because you overboosted your engine.

So the biblical scholars mis-translated the Hebrew word for "young woman" into the Greek word for "virgin," which was a pretty easy mistake to make, since there is only a subtle difference in the spelling. But back then it was the "virgin" that caught people's attention. It's not every day a virgin conceives and bears a son. So you keep that for a couple of hundred years, and the nexy thing you know, you have the Roman Catholic church. -Snatch |

wrx stock is 1 BAR, or 14.7 psi. you shouldnt have problems running 18. some guy on i-club accidentally boost-spiked his stock block turbo rs to 23 psi for a few seconds, and it held up no problem. thats the higher compression rs that was never designed for a turbo.

Turbo boost power gain?
In an otherwise stock WRX, what kind of power gain could you expect to see if you raise the boost to 18-20 psi?
