Vintage Impala
I have a 1971 Chevrolet Impala 2 door convertable I'm trying to sell. It has the 400 8cyl small block. It has been sitting for a couple of years but all numbers match. Does anybody have any advice or information about this car? Like how rarw is this model and engine? How should i go about selling it? Any other random blurbs are appreciated.

For some people old big bodies are ugly and worthless. For others they have been looking for that car for years and will pass out if they see it in very good condition and for sale. For you to get what its worth you will have to find a person looking for that exact car. |

Re: Vintage Impala
All numbers matching, all original, 400ci 2 barrel small block v8, been sitting for a few years, needs minor TLC. Mechanic's car, never seen snow, 86,482 actual miles. View additional pictures http://s152.photobucket.com/albums/s173/hanson5017/

Re: Vintage Impala
A matching numbers car is always premium. Don't throw it away in a hurry. I think displaying it at a show was a good suggestion. And just a thought -- do you have literature that would go with this car (original literature to go with the matching numbers
... Nice accompaniment. Try here (at McLellan's Automotive History) Brochures (1971), dealer literature...

Re: Vintage Impala
My price guide shows 4500-9500 for a no rust, running car, with no major repairs required. 76 was the last big convertible.
