I recently bought a 2001 CL 500 MB. The previous owner jumpstarted the car and as a result the radio switches on but has no sound (BOSE RADIO) and the aircon switches on but the fan is not activated. Please CAN ANYBODY HELP?

For the radio, some of them will misbehave if the memory voltage has dropped below 5 volts. I had a Blaupunkt that did the same thing. You might need to disconnect the radio from the memory voltage supply (as well as the ignition voltage supply) for a minute. If its the type of radio where you have to put in a code or a CD with a code for it to work; be sure you have the code first. The radio manufacturer may have a website, with an FAQ, or manuals to download. Such as: www.blaupunkt.com/us/downloads_1.asp
About the a.c. I dont know. My MB is a 170 cabriolet made in 1949.
