clutch gone bad? need help
I have a 90 accord dx, 2dr, with 152k miles, that i've had for about 1,500 miles. this morning i went out to start it up, and there was no pressure to the clutch. i barely had to touch it and it would go to the ground. also, when it was started, it wouldn't go into any gears. however, when the car's turned off and i have the clutch in, it goes to all gears [but the clutch is still really lose].
it worked fine late last night. i've heard of clutches going bad over a few weeks...etc, but not overnight, when they're just sitting there turned off. did a wire just break or something? [it was cold last night] any help would be much appreciated. thanks, tfish. |

i've heard from a few people that it's the slave cylinder. because if you pump the clutch, it builds up pressure and you can change gears [barely]
do you know where i could find a diagram of it, so that i know what to look for...etc? thanks, tfish. |
