1995 200SXSE gets 35mh - Is this typical?
I am the original owner, and this car has seen about 75% Interstate/cross-county miles, though now it's used for short city trips.
Originally the car new got 37mpg. I figured the mpg must have dropped considerably since then, but in recent short roadtrips of approx. 300-400miles, it consistently hovered around the 35mpg range and that was WITH A/C ON. Is this level of long-term fuel efficiency typical for the 200SX? If it is, I'm surprised it is almost forgotten, considering that similar sized hybrids like the Honda Civic hybrid only get about 45mpg. Shouldn't it be noteworthy? http://www.greenhybrid.com/compare/mileage/ Also considering how fuel efficient this car seems to be. I wonder why Nissan stopped making it, though I know it's just a 2dr. Senta. ![]() I am VERY careful when filling up the car to ensure my estimated mileage is somewhat accurate. These #s have remained consistant for years and years. ![]() Thanks to anyone who has some feedback |
