Tamiya 1/20 Benetton Ford B188 (*FINAL PICS*)
Finally it’s done. After so many years in the waiting list my fetish F1 car is done and I’m really satisfied with the final result.
I have to thank daggerlee, jay@af and Del-R for their useful tips about masking painting. New project it’s on the way and it will not be a F1 car (again)  Rally one this time. Hope you like it.

Very sharp looking piece of history. It has to be one of the most colourful F1 cars ever raced.
I can see you have added detail such as the wing supports etc. Very nice. Any engine shots?

I've been following your B188 from the moment you started it. It is very well finished!! Well done. Hey guys, you know who drove this beauty back in '88?... I've seen it racing at Spa! Guido ps. What rally car is next?

First of all I’d like to thank you all for your comments.
I’m glad you like it. About your questions / requests: Tires were sanded with 120 paper. The Benetton Ford B188 was driven in the 88 season by the Italian Alessandro Nannini (19) and the French Thierry Boutsen (20). My next project will be the Toyota Corolla WRC. And finally one engine shot:
