Shifting Problems in 2003 Impala 3.4L

Hey all!

Got a 203 Chevy Impala 3.4L which the tranny is changing gears really rough from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd, the car jerks really bad. The engine revs really high going from 1st to 2nd gear. Any suggestions?

unhook your neg battery terminal for 30-40 seconds and hook her back up, take her for a run, if that don't work then go to canadian tire and pick up a bottle of Trans-medic, $ 5 bucks a bottle ,put that in her and try that, it usually works after about 100km's

Welcome to AF. If this doesn't work get it scanned on a trans function scanner for trans codes and solenoid functions.

Thanks!... I've already tried disconnecting the neg. battery post, but it didn't help. I'll try the trans-medic tonight. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks again!
