Shop manual

Is someone knows "ManualsUnlimited.com" ? It is a shop and diagnosis downloadeable cd-rom for any car or van. It's avalaible for my 2001 Windstar
at the price of $16.95.

Re: Shop manual

Hi
If you can, I prefer the hardback edition for real work. A few sets are currently for sale on Ebay such as:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2001-...87937189QQrdZ1

I have a cdrom manual for one of my cars and it is o.k., but a bit more cumbersome and less detailed than my hard back.

The best online info to my knowledge is available at alldata.com for a subscription price. Do note that the Windstar is listed under Ford Truck.

Re: Shop manual

I downloaded a few DVD manuals from fordcds.com (I already own the factory CD's for my van and car). Works well, although some of the later year versions (you'll need those only if you want the latest TSB's) will only work if you set the date on the computer back before running the program. Plus you need a dual layer DVD for 2000+ years.

Thank you for the recommandation (both of you) I have downloaded from
fordcds, ( the cd version for 2001 truck) it has been very long to download
and sometime works sometime not. I will try the dvd version that seem longer. I have double layer dvd and I hope it will work properly with this versions. But anyway in addition to that I will try to get a hard copy.
Thanks again
