yellow light

my ''maintenance required'' light turned yellow on my 1993 honda accord lx. anything I should know about that before I take it the mechanic??

The light reminds you to change oil.
Turn your car off. Press and hold Trip meter. Turn your key to On (CAR NOT RUNNING). Wait about 10 seconds for light to turn off.

And do not make double posts.

transsmission or motor?? I just changed my motor oil in mid january.

This light is only a reminder. It comes on by the number of miles you drove.

Reset it and you will be fine.

that won't work. He has a 4thgen accord. The reset feature you're talking about started with the 6th gen accord.

There is a little slot next to the reminder. Just stick a key or something small enough in there to reset it back to green
