Toyota Corolla
My 1993 toyota corolla was involved in an accident, as a result the airbag exploded. The front end has been fixed and the airbag replaced, but the airbag light is still on. Can someone tell me why the light is on? I'm thinking it's the sensors or something needs to be reset. We only replaced the airbag not the entire steering wheel. Thanks!

Re: Toyota Corolla
You need to reset the computer by short circuiting it. Because of the OBDI. I'm not really sure how you do it, but it's the correct way to do so.

Re: Toyota Corolla
The airbag system can can be reset on your vehicle using a few different methods. You should know, there are serious ramifications if you do it WRONG (airbag could deploy during the operation)
1) a scanner from toyota 2) a reset tool, mady by OTC 3) jumper wire Refer to this site for better information http://www.airbagsolutions.com |
