Wipers
My brother's girlfriend drives a grand prix, it's somewhat newer not exact on the year I'm thinking around 2000 or 2001. Anyway according to him when he shuts off the wipers instead of returning to their normal position, they go straight up. Any help?

Re: Wipers
Basically the wipers are not going to the park position probably due to a mechanical issue with the wiper motor assembly. Common problem if you live in areas where there is alot of snow and ice.
The wiper motor has a stamped steel plate attached to it with a formed tab. Due to the weight of the snow the metal tab will bend. As a result the wipers do not sense the stop point in reverse and then park straight up. To correct the issue you will need to remove both wiper arms and the plastic cover. The tab is located on the driver's side wiper. The tab should be at 90 degrees and can be bent back into place and form.
