92 s10 help
help I have a 92 s10 4.3. I just put new heads on and put every thing back toghter. but it will not start. It just back fires real bad.I already tried to reset the timing. Also I need pics of top of motor to see were some egr hoses go. My buddy put the heads on for me and put it at tdc.

Was the dist set on no. 1 TDC compression or no.1 TDC exhaust stroke?
Have you double checked the firing order? Are the rocker arms/push rods self adjusting or adjustable? Is it a W or Z engine or turbo?
