2000 Sienna Clock Not Working

Have changed the 10A fuse and everything else works except the clock. No lights in it whatsoever. What else can I try?

Test the power inputs to the clock. The clock maybe bad.

I don't know how to test the power inputs. I'm not a mechanic. I've also noticed that my lighter stopped working at the same time as the clock. Does that provide any clues? Thanks.

Re: 2000 Sienna Clock Not Working

You will need a test light to see if the fuse is getting power. It looks like an ice pick with a wire attached to it, and they cost a couple of dollars at most autoparts stores. Clip the clamp on to a good ground, metal part of the body. On my car I have clipped it to the brake pedal. You will see two slots on the top of the fuse. With the ignition switch in the on position, touch the pointed end of the test light in each of the slots of the installed fuse. The test light should light up when you probe both slots. If it only lights on one slot the fuse is bad. If it doesn't light at all, then you are not getting power to the circuit. Check all the fuses under the dash and under the hood.
